Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the operator of PlantTech Jobs Canada (“we”, “us”) handles personal information on PlantTech Jobs Canada. We aim to follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

• Employers posting a job: the listing details you submit (company, job title, location, wage, description, application link) and a contact email address.
• Payments: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment, the amount, and Stripe reference IDs. We never see or store your full card number.
• Job alert subscribers: your email address and the date you consented.
• Job seekers: you can browse without an account. Applications happen on the employer’s own website, not here.
• Technical data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability.

How we use it

• To publish and manage paid job listings and to contact employers about their listing or payment.
• To send job alerts to people who asked for them. Every alert includes an unsubscribe link.
• To prevent fraud, keep the site secure and meet legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run the site — our payment processor (Stripe) and our hosting provider — or when required by law. Job listing content you submit is published publicly.

Cookies

The public site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. A strictly necessary session cookie is used only for the site administrator’s login. Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout pages.

Retention

We keep listing and payment records for as long as needed for the purposes above and for tax and accounting requirements. Alert subscriptions are deactivated as soon as you unsubscribe.

You may ask to access or correct your personal information, or withdraw consent to job alerts, by contacting privacy@planttechjobs.ca.
